SHARK TANK titan Kevin O’Leary and wife Linda are livin’ LARGE now that they’ve put a fatal boating disaster in their wake, GLOBE has learned!
Linda was found not guilty last September for her role in the 2019 boat collision on Ontario’s Lake Joseph that left two people dead — and since then, sources say, the loaded couple is in partyhearty mode.
“They’ve always had this crazy rich lifestyle, but they’ve stepped it up since Linda was acquitted,” spills an insider. “They’re spending an insane amount of money on their yacht, mansions and five-star vacations while gorging on gourmet food and chugging fine wines, not just their own O’Leary Wines label.
“They feel they deserve it after what they went through. That trial took two years away from their very pampered lives!”
Linda — who admits having one drink after the accident — was charged with careless operation of a vessel. But evidence presented in court showed the other boat’s lights were off at the time of the late-night crash.
TV titan Kevin, 67 — who was also on board — has amassed a $400 million fortune from his software company and other investments, and sources say he’s burning through it like there’s no tomorrow!
“Some people think it’s tacky and obnoxious of them to be throwing money around,” dishes a source. “But all Kevin wants to do is spoil Linda with the best that money can buy — jewels, cars, a designer wardrobe for every season.
“They’re making up for lost time!”
