THE DIRT ON GOOFY GWYN’S KOOKY CLEANSES
SELF-PROCLAIMED lifestyle expert Gwyneth Paltrow’s former chief lieutenant at the fashion and wellness website Goop is spilling the beans about the obsessive body cleanses the actress pushes — proclaiming it’s all a bunch of poop!
Elise Loehnen, onetime chief content officer, says she did a slew of the “cleanses” the site hawks following her actress boss’ example and finally quit because “it had become synonymous with dieting and restriction.
“I felt like I was not in a healthy relationship with my body, where I was always trying to punish it [and] bring it under control.”
In other words, the 42-yearold mom of two finally rebelled at the seeming obsessiveness that Paltrow has with body perfection.
“I needed to break a tendency to be critical and punishing. To chastise myself,” says Elise.
As GLOBE has reported, Gwyneth appears fixated on two things — sex and cleansing.
Besides body cleansers, she sells a gaggle of vibrators and even candles that supposedly smell like a vagina and orgasms!
One detox product is actually a crossover.
Goofy Gwyn — whose idea of a perfect marriage is to live half a week apart from her second hubby — is also gaga over steam cleaning vaginas.
The actress pushes these products under “wellness,” but many of her claims as to the benefits have been slammed by experts.
In 2018, she was forced to cough up $145,000 in fines in California over fake claims about her yoni eggs. Goop claimed putting the balls in the vagina did everything from fixing gals’ hormone levels to improving bladder control.
You’d think with Gwyneth’s supposed fixation with “wellness” that she would have pulled the eggs from her catalog after this — but no! Apparently, they bring in too much money. She’s still selling them at $66 a pop only with the bogus claims removed.
Now, her own former bigwig exec is admitting Gwyn’s obsession with body shape and cleansing isn’t “wellness.”
Elise found this constant drive to have the cleanest, most perfect body “punishing.”
What Goop and Gwyn need to do — is clean up their act!
