BAD BOY Will Smith is rapidly becoming persona non grata in Hollywood — along with wife Jada Pinkett Smith and their kids Willow and Jaden — thanks to his Oscars Slapgate scandal, insiders say.
Even though the King Richard Oscar winner voluntarily resigned his membership from the movie academy after slapping host Chris Rock during the recent ceremonies, sources snitch the organization is looking into all legal options!
As worldwide TV audiences watched in shock, 53-year-old Will stormed onstage and whacked Rock across the face after the comic cracked a joke about Jada, whose head is shaved.
The joke may have been in poor taste since Jada, 50, has revealed her battle with alopecia, an autoimmune disorder that causes hair loss, but Chris is the clear winner as showbiz types bash Smith.
“Will is a bully and few are buying that he’s really, truly sorry,” says an insider, who insists, “Will’s growing more unpopular by the day and his arrogant attitude will not be tolerated.”
The source also notes Jada’s “cockiness isn’t helping and footage of her laughing after the slap drives home the belief that she thinks the attack on Chris was well-deserved.”
Meanwhile, their kids Jaden, 23, and Willow, 21, have blown it all off to focus on their careers, which underlines the “whole family’s aura of self-entitlement,” adds the insider. “They’ve gone from the A-list to outcasts.”
