MURDERED RAPPER PARTIES AT WAKE!
A WASHINGTON, D.C., nightclub is being blasted for putting a murdered rapper’s corpse onstage in a gruesome display and outrageously collecting a $40 cover charge for the wake-like “viewing.”
The Bliss club held the ghoulish wake in its Shade Room where the body of 24-year-old Goonew, a.k.a. Markelle Morrow, who’d been gunned down, was propped up onstage wearing a designer hoodie, blingy watch and crown, while mourners celebrated wake-style.
A rapper at the grisly “viewing” says: “No this ain’t no wax figure, my Brodie went out gangsta.”
Later, club officials apologized, saying a funeral home arranged the event and they had no idea what it was.
