GIGANTIC GATOR TOOK OVER HOUSE

WORKERS battled a monster 12-foot alligator that was squatting in a newly built $1.5 million home. The fierce fight was caught on film by project manager Matthew Goodwin as workers and a gator wrangler struggled to drag the critter from Florida’s Babcock Ranch development near Fort Myers.

After removing a set of sliding-glass doors, a gator wrangler used a pole and rope to loop the gator. As the men tried to drag it out, the critter began rolling and thrashing. Outside, it was lugged into a pickup truck and freed in another area. Goodwin says the beast caused $2,500 worth of damage. A local suggested this real estate ad: “Free pet with every home.”
