President, brother Jim & son Hunter caught in slush fund scandal
PRESIDENT Joe Biden is being dragged into an explosive slush fund scandal by shameful accusations his personal bills were paid through a slush fund created with dirty money from shady foreign ventures!
Although Joe has long maintained he never did business with family members or had ties to their overseas enterprises, documents show the commander in chief’s cocaine addict son Hunter footed big bills for his father — and got the cash from deals in China and Ukraine!
Now a federal grand jury probe into the 52-year-old first son’s taxes has exploded into a quest to determine if the Biden clan — including the president’s brother Jim — broke lobbying laws and committed financial misdeeds.
In emails investigators recovered from Hunter’s abandoned computer in 2019, the younger Biden tells former business partner Eric Schwerin he was paying his father’s expenses — at the time Joe was serving as Barack Obama’s vice president!
In one email from 2010 headed “JRB bills” [Joe’s initials], over $5,000 in repairs were listed for work done at his father’s lakefront property.
Then in 2018 Hunter wrote about Joe using his bank account, writing: “My dad has been using most lines on this account which I, through the gracious offerings of Eric [his partner], have paid for past 11 years.”
Hunter also complained to his daughter about paying for family members and his dad, writing: “I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years.
“It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop [Joe], I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
Banking records have also shown another member of the Biden family, Joe’s younger brother James, 72, was paid $65,000 a month while Hunter made $100,000 monthly as retainers for consulting with CEFC, an energy firm in
Communist China, in 2018.
Hunter was also gifted a diamond worth $80,000 by CEFC’s chairman Yi Jianming.
A year earlier Hunter and James worked with Tony Bobulinski, a U.S. Navy lieutenant turned venture capitalist, to set up a company, SinoHawk, and go into business with CEFC in America.
The scheme crashed after Jianming was arrested on corruption charges in China.
Bobulinski claims the plan included Joe — who was not in office at the time — to also profit from the company with a 10 percent equity stake held by another family member.
This information is being looked at by the grand jury probing Hunter and his financial records.
While it is unclear if Bobulinski has given testimony in the probe, one confirmed witness, Devon Archer, another of
Hunter’s business partners, was issued a subpoena in relation to bank records of dealings from various companies.
Archer, now in prison on unrelated fraud charges, never responded in public, but his lawyer later confirmed he had “cooperated completely” with the Hunter probe. Records show banks flagged over 150 transactions by Hunter and James. While that doesn't mean anything illegal was done, it indicates the dealings raised eyebrows, experts claim.
Joe denies any links with Hunter’s business and has released his tax documents to show he is completely clean. But right-wing author Miranda Devine claims it is all part of a wider scheme to keep the president’s nose clean.
In her book Laptop from Hell, Devine writes Hunter used his dad’s name and connections to make a bundle and funneled dough to pay his dad’s bills.
“Hunter was assigned the role of paying the bills for the rest of the family through lucrative grace and favor jobs and sweetheart deals facilitated by Joe’s network of connections in Delaware and, later, throughout the world.
“Over thirty-six years as a senator, Joe had become expert at not getting caught doing anything illegal or too obviously unethical.”
She adds Hunter became resentful “that he was viewed as the family’s cash cow, while never receiving the credit that he thought he was owed for his financial contribution.”
