ED drugs hurt eyesight

RESEARCHERS have hard news for users of erectile dysfunction drugs. Habitual consumers of the prescription pills are 85 percent more likely to experience vision-threatening conditions! An analysis of data by scientists at the University of British Columbia found older men taking meds such as sildenafil, tadalafil and avanafil were more likely to experience a compromised blood supply to optic nerves and retinal tears or clots. Study lead Dr. Mahyar Etminan explains the drugs can “hinder” blood flow to vital organs.
