Oscars in 2000 when she gave her 48-year-old sibling a scandalous smooch more befitting a lover than a brother — but these days she won’t give him the time of day, sources reveal.
“James clams up whenever anyone asks him what happened between him and Angie, why he doesn’t see her anymore,” tattles a tipster.
“It’s a real sore spot for him. She’s pretty much turned her back on him after he did everything he could to help her through her divorce.”
The mother of six has been locked in an ugly custody battle with Brad, 58, since they split in 2016.
“James jumped in to help look after the kids, but then things went sour because he didn’t totally agree with her on every little thing,” dishes the source. “He’s always been devoted, but he’s also not a yes man.”
The source believes the siblings, whose mom was the late Marcheline Bertrand, split after James “gave his opinion on how she was handling her custody case and she didn’t take it well. He’s gone from being the kids’ nanny to almost never seeing them.
“It’s very sad.”
Angelina also has a “limited relationship” with their dad, Ray Donovan actor Jon Voight, who she ostracized for years.
“James still won’t say a bad word about her,” adds the source. “He’s loyal to her to the end.”
