Well, RAY ROMANO sure does in his new HBO series, Made for Love — in which he plays a man romantically involved with a sexy synthetic sweetie! “Every once in a while my wife will say, ‘Oh did you have scenes with your blowup doll?’ and I have to tell her, ‘It’s not a blow-up doll!

It’s a synthetic partner, she weighs 80 pounds,’” jokes the 64-year-old comedian. “It’s not this flimsy blow-up doll that you bring to a bachelor party.” And it seems acting opposite the doll proved a real pleasure. “It’s funny because all the elements are the same,” maintains the star. “You have to get into character, you have to feel what the character’s feeling, and you’re just not having to wait for lines to come back at you.”
