OP SHOUTS HOLE IN HAILEY’S HEART!
MODEL Hailey Bieber had surgery to close the hole in her heart that allowed a blood clot to travel to her brain and cause her terrifying mini-stroke earlier this year!
Hailey, 25, says docs initially thought birth control pills, COVID-19 and transatlantic plane trips created a clot-causing “perfect storm.”
The fashion mannequin recalls briefly feeling her face droop and being unable to talk with singer hubby Justin before being rushed to the hospital with a transient ischemic attack.
She’s since revealed a follow-up found a nearly 13-millimeter hole in her heart, the “highest grade” possible PFO.
The naturally occurring opening normally closes within a year of birth. However, Hailey says her stubborn PFO was remedied by a procedure that went “smoothly,” allowing her to move on from a “really scary situation.”
