MONACO PRINCE’S STEPFORD WIFE!
Troubled Charlene looks unhappy next to skirt-chaser Albert
CHEATER Prince Albert of Monaco trotted out his troubled wife, Princess Charlene, like a show pony for a second public appearance — but the blond beauty wasn’t smiling and the two never touched.
The 44-year-old princess, her seven-year-old twins, Jacques and Gabriella, and Albert, 64, appeared at the Sainte Dévote Rugby Tournament for under12 players a week following her first public outing with the family at a car racing event.
While Albert was beaming — as if showing off a loving, tight-knit family — Charlene hugged and cuddled her kids while never touching the prince or cracking a smile, sparking speculation she’d been turned into a modernday brainwashed Stepford Wife.
Her two unsmiling public appearances were the first for Charlene since January 2021, when she split for her native South Africa just weeks after a woman sued Albert for fathering her 16-year-old daughter — while he was courting Charlene.
While the prince denies the current claim, which is pending in Italian courts, he’s a known womanizer and currently supports two love children by different women.
As GLOBE reported, Charlene refused to return to Monaco and remained in her birth land for ten months. During her time away, Monaco palace officials claim she was treated and eventually had surgery for a serious sinus issue that prevented her from flying.
She returned to Monaco in November, but about a week later was secretly shipped off to a Swiss clinic to be treated for “physical and mental exhaustion,” according to Albert.
“She was overwhelmed and couldn’t face official duties, life in general or even family life,” he claimed.
Sources say she underwent violent electroshock treatments before returning to Monaco in April after five months of intense therapy.
Pals have said Charlene just wants to be a mom and has no interest in performing royal duties or being Albert’s wife.
Dubbed the runaway princess, Charlene tried to bolt Monaco three times on the eve of her 2011 wedding, but couldn’t leave because palace officials kept her passport, according to sources.
