Electrifying chemistry links lady killer and Barack’s smitten wife
SPELLBOUND Michelle Obama is playing Russian roulette with her shaky marriage to ex-prez Barack by crushing hard on hunky Formula One racing superstar Lewis Hamilton, insiders tattle.
The fawning, 58-year-old former First Lady was pictured in a tender embrace with the 37-year-old British speedster — who is tied at seven for most Driving World Championships and worth a whopping $250 million — while he hosted her before a recent race during a star-studded Florida weekend.
Bombshell photos show the pair holding one another tight while at the Miami International Autodrome, leaving witnesses shocked by their electric, romantic chemistry.
“Michelle held on to Lewis with a real passionate intensity and clearly didn’t want to let him go,” dishes an insider. “It was kind of creepy how obviously drawn to him she was.
“But he was equally pleased. They were overheard making plans to meet up again later. There was definitely a warmth and chemistry and when they weren’t hugging and gazing into each other’s eyes they had each other in stitches with jokes.
“They looked like a loving couple!”
The pair first hit it off at a star-studded 2014 White House function where Hamilton escorted his then-girlfriend, pop beauty Nicole Scherzinger, formerly of The Pussycat Dolls.
“Michelle gushes he’s one of the most talented athletes of his generation with a compassion and desire to do the right thing,” dishes a spy.
“She thinks the sun rises and sets on Lewis and finds any excuse possible to email or call him to discuss ways they can team up together.”
But insiders snitch Barack wasn’t too pleased by his wife’s open display of affection.
As GLOBE previously reported, the former commander-in-chief and his spouse of 29 years have had rough patches — clashing over everything from where to live, having children and how to parent their daughters, Malia, 23, and Sasha, 20. Just a couple years back, the Obamas were said to have consulted divorce lawyers and been on the brink of a $135 million split.
Things have gotten little better, according to snitches.
Barack, 60, has angered Michelle by refusing to spend time in California to support her dream of becoming a mover and shaker in the entertainment industry — despite being urged to enter politics like her hubby.
Meanwhile, ladies man Hamilton has been linked to beauties including R&B babe Rihanna, Brit singer Rita Ora, model Kendall Jenner, rapper Nicki Minaj and socialite Sofia Richie.
“This guy’s a real player and it’s kind of amazing to see Michelle so under his spell,” adds an insider. “It’s really testing Barack’s patience, but she doesn’t seem to care!”
