NASCAR RACERS SPEW TRASH AFTER CRASH
NASCAR racer Joey Logano won for the first time in 40 races at Darlington Raceway amid cries of dirty driving from rival William Byron!
Logano’s victory in the Goodyear 400 was sweet, but he was slammed for tacky tactics by bitter Byron.
On the second to last lap, Logano ran down Byron and bumped him, sending his car crashing into the wall and blowing out two tires.
“Yeah, he’s just a moron. He can’t win a race, so he does it that way,” Byron was heard griping after finishing 13th.
But Logano fired back insisting Byron took the lead by trying to squeeze him into the wall about 20 laps before.
“You have to do that in that situation,” Logano says. “I’m not going to get bullied. That’s how the sport works.
“If that’s not how he took the lead, I’m not making that move. I’m going to try to race cleaner and try to make the pass a different way.”
