Dad, mom, sis & own kids cut out of wedding
BRITNEY Spears banned her parents, sister and teenage sons from her celebrity-studded wedding, reigniting an ugly family feud, sources tell GLOBE!
Scandal-scarred dad Jamie, 69, and mom Lynne Spears, 67, and their younger daughter, Jamie Lynn, 31, were noticeably absent from the June 9 nuptials at Britney’s palatial L.A. home. But the aging pop princess had a ball — dancing in a diamond-encrusted thong — after she tied the knot with muscleman Sam Asghari, 28.
However, sources fear Britney stirred up a hornet’s nest by leaving most of her relatives off the guest list, which included Madonna, Drew Barrymore, Selena Gomez and other Tinseltown A-listers. Big brother Bryan Spears, 45, was the only exception to her no-family policy, say sources who note the 40-yearold Toxic singer’s sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, were kept away.
While Britney’s boys seem fine with missing the event, a source says her other relatives are “disgusted” by the “disrespectful kick in the teeth.”
But sources dish most of the Spears clan has been on Britney’s blacklist since the singer’s conservatorship ended last November after 13 long years.
Dad Jamie, who controlled her $60 million fortune for a dozen years, has been accused of spying, harassing and bullying his daughter while serving as her conservator. Her lawyer also accuses Jamie of embezzling her money, which he insists is a lie.
“Jamie is too angry to speak up,” says an insider. “But Jamie Lynn is furious. The family worries Britney’s been brainwashed by Sam — but she just wants to wash all these losers out of her hair!”
