Tell-all book will settle scores with phonies who abandoned him
SAVORING victory over ex Amber Heard in his defamation suit, Johnny Depp now plans a revenge tell-all to shred the two-faced Tinseltown A-listers who dumped him in his time of crisis, sources say.
The 59-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean sensation started the memoir detailing his 2017 split with Amber, 36, and has already written more than 300 pages, according to friends. “Now the stage is set for Johnny to correct the many myths about his life,” spills an insider. “He’s never had the time before.”
Depp plans to bare his traumatic childhood when he was battered by his mother’s verbal and physical abuse, detail the highs and lows of his Hollywood career, and reveal all his explosive love affairs, feuds and addictions, the insider tattles.
Of course, Johnny will zero in on Amber, who was ordered by a Virginia jury to pay him $10.3 million for branding him a monster domestic abuser.
“Amber was his worst mistake and friends warned him not to marry her, but he didn’t listen and he’ll regret it to his dying day,” notes the insider.
But he’ll also take aim at the Tinseltown bigwigs who deserted him in the face of her vicious claim, which contributed to his career taking on water.
“Johnny wants to paint a clear picture of the many spineless studio chiefs and shallow celebrities who tried to write him off and cost him hundreds of millions in the process,” the insider dishes.
Shortly after Amber published an op-ed piece claiming she was the victim of domestic abuse, Disney axed Johnny and his popular Jack Sparrow character from their Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
“Johnny has an ax to grind with people he believes are responsible for his Hollywood downfall,” says the insider. “There were others, including actors and directors, who didn’t go to bat for him.
“He looks forward to naming names and having the last laugh.”
