BATTERED J.LO’S CHILDHOOD HELL

-

JENNIFER LOPEZ is opening up about her hellish childhood — the former Fly Girl says her mom did more than just swat her, she “beat the sh*t out of me!”

J.Lo makes the extraordinary revelation in the Netflix documentary Halftime as she describes her “complicated” relationship with her mother, Guadalupe “Lupe” Rodriguez, 76.

“She did what she had to do to survive, and it made her strong, but it also made her tough. She beat the sh*t out of you,” explains the 52-yearold Let’s Get Loud singer.

J.Lo has spoken before about leaving home at 18 after clashing with her mother, but this is the first glimpse she has given into the abuse she says her mom inflicted on her and her sisters, Leslie and Lynda.

“We got into a bad fight one night and I just left,” she says.

Lupe also appears in the documentary and agrees she was hard on her kids.

“I was far from the perfect mother,” she says. “The one thing I can always say, everything I did, I did with their best interest at heart.”

But she admits Jennifer “gave me the hardest time, to tell you the truth. We butted heads a lot.”
