Charlene’s distaste obvious as hubby forces awkward PDA
DESPERATE to silence critics who claim his marriage is a sham, Monaco’s Prince Albert forced his fragile wife, Charlene, into a public display of affection with disastrous results!
After examining photos of the strained couple’s first public kiss since she returned to Monaco, body language expert Patti Wood concludes Albert’s attempt to display love and affection are FAKE and Charlene showed signs of “fear!”
“Instead of intimacy and closeness, there’s tension between them!” says Wood.
At one point during their June 22 outing in Oslo,
Norway, skirt-chasing Albert, 64, who currently supports two love children, and the 44-year-old blonde embraced and kissed, but Wood insists it was just an act.
Says Wood, “You can see how his upper shoulders are actually pulling away from her rather than going towards her. In other words, he’s not reaching out towards her at all. That’s significant!”
And instead of fully embracing the beauty, “he’s not going all the way around her. He’s keeping the upper arm tight, slightly to his side. In a good kiss, the man’s arm tends to go up all the way around.”
As for Charlene, her lips are “pursed upwards” as if she’s disgusted from a “sour taste.”
In another photo, they’re walking side by side, and she’s keeping her distance while clutching her open jacket.
She’s not keeping her jacket “from flying open,” but is actually in a protective pose, says the expert.
“Her fingers are held clawlike in suppressed fear,” says Wood. “She is subconsciously protecting herself from him!”
As GLOBE reported, the former Olympic swimmer split from Monaco for her native South Africa in January 2021, weeks after a Brazilian woman claimed the prince fathered her daughter, now 16, in 2005, when he was also courting Charlene. Albert denies paternity, but insiders claim the damage was done.
Charlene ultimately returned to Albert and their seven-yearold twins in Monaco in November. But he quickly checked her into a Swiss mental clinic — where sources say she got electroshock treatment — and she didn’t return to the principality until April.
