SCREEN hunk John Travolta has secretly been a devoted friend and rock for troubled Lisa Marie Presley — and now sources believe they’ve caught a sizzling Saturday Night Fever after being brought together by grief!
Since Elvis’ only child lost her son, Ben Keough, to suicide, “John checks in on Lisa Marie” and has been encouraging her to rebuild her life, according to an insider, who notes she’s helping Travolta recover from the loss of wife Kelly Preston, who died from cancer July 12, 2020 — the same day Ben killed himself.
“Lisa Marie doesn’t know what she’d do without him,” says the insider, who suspects the feeling is mutual.
Travolta, now 68, introduced Lisa Marie, 54, and her mom, Priscilla Presley, to
Scientology in the late ’70s and she’s been crushing on him since, spies dish.
Lisa Marie calls John “a sweetheart” and admits: “My mom introduced me to him when I was 10 as a birthday present, I think, because I had a crush on him when he was on Welcome Back, Kotter.”
Since then, Lisa Marie’s life has been a disaster with four divorces and drug and financial problems.
A source says
John “has been her guardian angel” and helped her overcome addiction to opioids.
Now, romantic sparks are in the air, say sources.
