RAVISHING RITA HAYWORTH plays a sultry temptress in Gilda, an erotic 1946 film noir that gave censors headaches! Hayworth’s character is torn between her bridegroom and GLENN FORD, playing an ex-lover. The movie features one of the cheekiest entrances ever filmed: Gilda’s husband calls, “Are you decent?” before opening the door, and Hayworth flips her lavish red locks and responds, “Who, me?” They shot the scene TWICE to try different costumes before choosing an off-the-shoulder dressing gown.
