Using new album to get revenge on folks who used her as cash cow
BRITNEY SPEARS is planning a triumphant return to music with a revenge album designed to reignite her career and fatten her bank account now that she’s no longer under dad Jamie Spears’ thumb!
The 40-year-old Oops! I Did It Again songbird is already working in the studio, breaking a six-year, self-imposed hiatus after claiming hangerson stole her voice and saw her as a cash cow, not a person.
“Britney’s now working with several friends who she trusts, getting into a groove and developing her own new style,” spills an insider.
“Britney hasn’t been against making music all this time.
She’s been deeply scarred by how she was exploited to make money and only allowed to perform a certain way and with cheesy material her father approved.
“She’s determined to show the world she’s more than this bubblegum pop act and, to that end, she’s writing about the torment she went through as well as spicing up lyrics to some of her hits that she knows are fan favorites.”
Pals Selena Gomez and Paris Hilton and her new hubby, fitness hunk Sam Asghari, 28, are lending their support, the insider dishes.

The former
Disney kid, who’s worth an estimated $60 million, is also seeking an accounting with her dad, who she claims kept her like a prisoner for 13 years when he was her court-appointed conservator. Britney, who has a history of mental health issues, even claimed Jamie bugged her bedroom, which he denies. A judge recently ruled Jamie, 70, must be deposed by this month and turn over all documents related to surveillance on his daughter and her financial matters.
“She believes her dad has been siphoning millions from her over the years,” reveals the insider. “Britney will have her revenge and it’s fueled by her musical comeback.”
