The sheer gown the blond bombshell wore in the 1954 flick was originally expected to fetch $100,000 at the L.A. auction, but the price proves Monroe’s still hot 60 years after her death.
The sale beat out $200Gs for the shield Chris Evans carried in 2012’s Captain America, $192,000 for a Star Wars stormtrooper helmet and $156,250 for Audrey Hepburn’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s outfit.
