ALBERT WANTS BABY TO SEAL REUNION DEAL
But it may be too much, too soon for frail Charlene
MONACO’S Prince Albert and runaway wife Charlene appear to be finally getting along and insiders say he’s now pushing the princess to cement their reunion with another baby!
But sources warn that may be way too much, way too soon for the troubled South African beauty, who has just dipped her toe into public life after a 15-month absence and treatment for mental, physical and emotional problems.
“Albert and Charlene have wiped the slate clean and seem to have regained their footing in a marriage many people assumed was doomed only a year ago,” spills an insider.
“He’s glad to have her back at his side for official duties and wants to take it further by having another baby to show off. It would assure Monaco’s people all is right with their monarch and his wife.”
That may be a bit of a stretch.
Charlene, 44, split for her homeland for ten months early last year following a lawsuit charging Albert had fathered a third love child, which he hotly denies.
While in South Africa, Charlene is said to have received treatment for a sinus issue. But just days after returning to Monaco in November 2021, Albert, 64, checked her into a Swiss mental clinic. She stayed five months and was subjected to violent shock treatments, insiders dish.
Since her April release,
Charlene has been appearing in public as a dutiful wife and doting mother to sevenyear-old twins Gabriella and Jacques. Albert wants to add to their brood, sources say.
“Asking her to have a baby at this stage is a lot, but Albert does have sway over her,” says the mole.
“People believe he could make it happen — barring any medical or emotional issues.”
