Royal runaways frantic to do deals as spotlight shifts to William’s family

-

ROYAL renegades Meghan and Harry are in a desperate dash to cash in on their celebrity as the spotlight begins shifting to his brother, Prince William, his wife, Kate, and their tykes, sources tell GLOBE.

Meghan and Harry have already signed $150 million deals with Netflix and Spotify, but their projects appear to be fizzling with their fading popularity after a series of scandals left them branded money-grubbing hypocrites, insiders claim.

And in their June visit to England for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the pair were snubbed by the royals and booed by crowds to the point that they returned early for California.

“They’ve just about worn out their welcome across the pond and in the U.S. by their nasty comments about the royal family and their overblown attempts to be ‘woke’

and champions of regular struggling people while living like posh potentates in their $14 million mansion,” says a royal insider.

“People are getting turned off by their pushiness and self-promoting proclamations about how wonderful and important they are.”

Meanwhile, the royal celebrity spotlight’s switching to Britain’s future king William, his fashion plate wife, Kate, and their super-cute kids — George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4.

The tykes stole the show standing next to their greatgranny, Queen Elizabeth, during Jubilee events in June.

Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti believes William’s rebel brother realized he had limited time in the spotlight,

saying: “Prince Harry said ages ago that he kind of knew that he had a certain amount of time in the limelight — his 15 minutes.

“And eventually Prince Louis, Prince George, Princess Charlotte would become the new, interesting characters.”

Now, Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, are reportedly scrambling to seal as many big-money deals as they can before time runs out.

“This couple has tried to portray themselves as victims and champions of the underprivileged, but people are realizing they’re just moneyhungry, arrogant twits,” says the insider.

“Now as the spotlight shines on William’s darling kids, they’ll be left in the dark desperate for cash to support their lavish lifestyle.”
