Tells Brit prince to butt out of American politics
WANNABE bigshot Prince Harry is getting socked for sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong — in American politics!
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito got laughs when he mocked the Duke of Sussex — a British royal holed up in California with his activist American wife, Meghan — for going to the United Nations and slamming the court’s landmark decision to abolish abortion rights.
A sarcastic Alito belittled the prince when he told chuckling law professors at a Rome, Italy, conference “what really wounded me was when the Duke of Sussex addressed the UN and seemed to compare the [court] decision with the Russian attack on Ukraine.”
As GLOBE previously reported, hapless Harry told the global assembly, “From the horrific war in Ukraine to the rolling back of constitutional rights here in the United States, we are witnessing a global assault on democracy and freedom.”
Alito’s jab was welcomed by Harry’s family, who are fed up with the prince and his publicity-hungry wife, according to sources who say the couple provoked a war by branding the royals as racist.
“Behind closed doors, Harry’s dad, Charles, and his brother, William, are chortling about Harry and Meghan making fools of themselves,” says a royal insider. “Harry’s apparently planning to become a U.S. citizen so Meghan can pursue her new scheme of running for office. But their meddling in politics has backfired.”
Says Georgia Republican Rep. Buddy Carter, “I think Americans made it pretty clear in 1776 that they don’t want members of the British royal family making decisions for them.”
