Exercise helps gals fight dementia!
REGULAR exercise may help women pump up their brains and ward off dementia — but experts found men don’t appear to garner the same benefits! University of California, San Diego, researchers say data show walking, biking and even playing golf allows gals to stay mentally sharp. But the scientists determined women are more likely to engage in group activities, which promote interaction, while guys often work out alone.
The study’s authors suggest the “social component” may “differentially engage cognitive abilities.”
