CNN SOCIALITE BUSTED FOR HIT-AND-RUN!
FORMER CNN anchor and socialite Felicia Taylor was busted in Palm Beach for hitand-run after smashing into a stopped car and zooming off, cops say.
The 57-year-old, who formerly worked for CNN’s World Business Today and is part of the Palm BeachHamptons social circle, slammed her white Mercedes into the rear of a black Ford driven by a 24-year-old man who was stopped in traffic, cops say.
“The impact caused [him] to strike the steering wheel, causing multiple complaints of injuries” while she fled “the scene of the accident,” says a police report.
When lawmen later pulled her over, actor Rod Taylor’s daughter claimed the accident “was no big deal.”
Charged with careless driving and leaving the scene of an accident with injury, she was released on $3,000 bail and pleaded not guilty.
