STAYIN’ YOUNG DON’T COME EASY FOR RINGO, 82!

-

THE Beatles’ iconic stickman Ringo Starr is pulling out all the stops to look younger than his 82 years to soothe his own ego and keep his sex symbol wife, Barbara Bach, happy, sources say.

Ringo is using hair plugs, dye, diet and exercise to turn back time as he becomes determined to find ways to improve his image and stay youthful — while secretly competing with his old bandmate Paul McCartney, insiders dish.

“Ringo’s managed to roll back years with his dark full head of hair, which he has to dye every week to keep it that black, and there are hints he’s had hair plugs,” spills an insider.

“He’s a vegetarian with a meager diet of mostly broccoli, carrots and tonics, and starves himself.

“He’s also a fan of Pilates and exercises every day with a trainer.”

While the Beatles broke up more than 50 years ago, the insider blabs “it bothers him that McCartney is still considered the ‘pretty one’ and John Lennon” — who died in 1980 — “still rules with his cool vibe and fashion sense.”

He also “works harder” at his looks

since he’s married to Bach, the Bond Girl in 1977’s The Spy Who Loved Me, tattles the source.

“He’s so youthobsessed that he spends a fortune to stay hip and relevant, but few would guess he’s 82 and that translates to success in his book.”
