JOLIE’S JOY AS BRAD TAKES BULLET!
Critics deflate ex’s ego by derailing latest flick
VENGEFUL Angelina Jolie is delighted by buzz ex Brad Pitt’s latest flick, Bullet Train, is a stinker with tepid box office sales, sources tell GLOBE.
Although the movie managed to top box office charts on its opening weekend, audience reaction was lackluster and critics shredded the acting, plot and special effects — adding to Angie’s joy, spies say.
The 47-yearold mom of six is savoring the knowledge pretty boy Pitt’s
“inflated” ego’s taking a beating because the highly touted project looks like a turkey, a source says.
“Angie hates seeing Brad succeed in any way,” spills an insider. “It really rankles how he swaggers around like this self-appointed king of the box office when he’s a limited talent who got lucky.
“In her eyes, he doesn’t deserve a fraction of the adulation or paydays.”
Brad’s breakout role was in Ridley Scott’s 1991 road movie Thelma & Louise, where he played a sexy small-time grifter who beds Geena Davis’ character and steals her money.
“Everyone knows Brad got famous more for showing his bare backside than for acting,” snips the insider. “It was pure luck — and a bunch of smart handlers — that got Brad to where he is. He’s also had the added bonus of making the right connections and investing his money wisely.”
Of course, sour grapes Jolie is ignoring Brad’s Oscar in 2020 for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Her last Oscar win was way back in 2000 for Girl, Interrupted — and sources say she’s since become a Tinseltown outcast!
