McDonald’s beef ends in tragedy
HOTHEAD Michael Morgan shot and killed a McDonald’s employee after the New York City restaurant served his mother cold french fries, authorities say.
Quick-tempered Morgan, 20, flew into a rage after workers sneered when his mom, Lisa Fulmore, complained, according to prosecutors. Lawmen say the gun-toting goon stormed the fast-food joint and his ensuing beef with burgerslinger Matthew Webb, 23, spilled onto the sidewalk.
After punching out Webb, Morgan opened fire when the dazed restaurant worker struggled to his feet, cops claim. Webb was shot in the neck — and left sprawled on the pavement in a puddle of his own blood!
Morgan’s mother says when she’d first brought back her subpar spuds, “I asked the girl to change the french fries.”
But the peeved parent explains she returned a second time and accused the worker of dumping a few hot taters on top of her old order — and claims the eatery’s employees laughed at her!
“I was on the phone with my son. I was like, ‘They in this McDonald’s playing with me,’ ” Fulmore says. “He was like, ‘I’m coming down the block.’”
Fulmore, 40, adds, “He was
like, ‘You all gotta back off my mother.’”
Shortly after a counter confrontation, the mom of
three says she heard gunshots and recalls, “I seen a boy on the ground, and then I saw my son running the other way.”
She insists, “I don’t even know if my son did that.” And she shockingly pinned the blame on Webb by saying, “Whatever happened outside, you caused that to happen.”
A judge ordered Morgan held without bail following his arraignment. His girlfriend, Camellia Dunlap, was charged with weapons possession — for allegedly handing Morgan the gun — and was held on $50,000 bail.
Morgan is also being rung up for an unrelated murder as lawmen claim he copped to a 2020 killing while being questioned about the shooting!
