GWEN FRANTIC TO SCRAPE BLAKE OFF HER SHOE!

Wants time away from clingy cowboy

-

COUNTRY giant Blake Shelton has gotten so clingy with wife Gwen Stefani, she’s getting turned off and desperate for more space, sources dish.

The 6-foot-5 The Voice mentor is nearly a foot taller than the 5-foot-6 blond bombshell, but he’s been following the Rich Girl songbird around like an overgrown puppy since they got hitched in July 2021 — and it’s getting on her nerves, insist sources.

“Gwen misses the old independent Blake, not this clingy version of him who won’t leave her alone and gets all antsy if she so much as leaves to go grocery shopping without him,” tattles an insider.

“It’s sweet in a way, but she wants them to take a little step back and get the spark back.”

The 52-year-old beauty’s also ticked over the way the 46-year-old Happy Anywhere cowboy’s piling on pounds and playing agony uncle to his Voice co-star Kelly Clarkson, who’s bellyaching over her divorce problems with ex Brandon Blackstock.

Now, the Nobody But You singer says he’s anxious to slow down his career to spend more time with Gwen and her three sons from her marriage to British rocker Gavin Rossdale.

“Look, I love music and I love The Voice,” Blake says. “I love all the cool things I get to do with my job. But those things all take a backseat now to Gwen and the kids.”

But Gwen wants a little separate time, sources say.

“The ideal scenario would be for Blake to spend more time on the Oklahoma farm while she hunkers down in L.A., but he’s not keen on that,” the insider reveals.

“All he wants is family time with Gwen.”
