✚ BUNDLES of joy cost a bundle of dough, according to researchers who say giving birth in America generates nearly $20,000 in bills! A Kaiser Family Foundation study analyzed data from more than 2 million women and determined on average pregnancy, delivery and postpartum care in the U.S. results in $18,865 in health care costs. They also found insurance paid out about $16,000 per covered patient, but new moms were still on the hook for almost $3,000 in expenses!
