WHACKED-OUT Wendy Williams is leaving behind a lousy legacy — staffers on her now-canceled gabfest are squealing the motormouth stashed bottles of liquor around the set!
What’s more, they say top executives grilled the TV queen “at least 25 times” right before she went on the air, demanding to know whether she was too trashed to do the show!
The discombobulated daytime host, 58, lost her gig in June to replacement Sherri Shepherd, 55, after being AWOL from her show with various physical and mental health problems — and after what insiders say was increasingly erratic behavior.
“Everybody on that staff and crew witnessed all kinds of things,” says one.
They would “find bottles [of alcohol] up in the ceiling tiles and other weird places in the office!”
