RABID motormouth Tucker Carlson is on a rampage about wanting a whopping pay hike at FOX News — and insiders say he’s demanding parity with longtime rival Sean Hannity or else!
While senior anchor Hannity, 60, has hosted his prime-time slot since 2009 and hauls in a staggering $45 million a year for his nightly gig, 53-year-old Carlson has been beating him in the ratings and now wants his paycheck to prove it, spies snitch.
“It burns away at Tucker’s soul that he’s not projected as THE top dog at the network,” an insider tells GLOBE. “The way he sees it, Sean’s on his way out, and Tucker is the beating heart they need to build around for the future.
“He has bided his time — but now, with his ratings through the roof, he’s making his move and putting his foot down. Tucker is arrogant enough to think he could still go anywhere and write his own ticket!”
As GLOBE has reported, Carlson’s ego has been soaring out of control, with the boastful blowhard even eyeing a run for the White House if he quits the small screen, according to insiders, who snitch his $35 million annual salary just isn’t enough.

Earlier this year, he caused outrage by floating the “great replacement theory,” which claims liberals are deliberately easing U.S. immigration policy so people of color can become a majority and push white conservatives out of power. The 18-year-old accused of killing ten and wounding three at a Buffalo, N.Y., grocery store in May promoted the racist rant in his sickening 180-page
manifesto unveiled after the slaughter.
In 2018, members of a local anti-fascist organization showed up at Carlson’s Northwest D.C. home and tried to break in through the front door.
“The way Tucker sees it, he’s putting his neck on the line night in, night out, and he needs to be compensated accordingly,” squeals a source. “Sure, he’d like to knock Sean off his perch and earn as much as he does.
“Sean doesn’t take Tucker seriously. He feels he’s got enough stock at FOX to stay on the top perch, and he’s probably right. That’s only making Tucker even angrier!”
