Less social media boosts mental health

✚ REPLACING 30 minutes of social media scrolling with physical exercise every day can pump up your mental health, according to a new study. Scientists at Germany’s Ruhr University Bochum found people who added workouts — and subtracted some screen time — reported feeling more satisfied, less depressed and less stressed! “This shows us how vital it is to reduce our availabili­ty online from time to time and to go back to our human roots,” says lead researcher Dr. Julia Brailovska­ia.
