Sources snitch the 41-yearold hitmaker is desperate to get back on top in the music biz — after his last solo album, 2018’s Man of the Woods, was slammed by critics and fans.
Since then he’s been contributing to other artists’ songs — but now that newly emancipated Britney has expressed zero desire to
return to Sin City, the Bye Bye Bye singer’s going to go for it.
“There’s a pile of about $20 million just waiting for him out in the desert,” spills an insider.
As GLOBE previously reported, the SexyBack crooner had a meltdown when he heard Britney was planning a tell-all book that threatened to reveal embarrassing details of their teen affair on The Mickey Mouse Club in the ’90s.
Meanwhile, spies tattle the residency would be perfect now that his marriage to 40-year-old actress Jessica Biel is back on track after being rocked by cheating rumors.
