FAMILY FEUD OVER HECHE $4M ESTATE

-

TRAGIC Anne Heche is barely in her grave but a ferocious fight over her $4 million fortune has exploded between her oldest son, Homer Laffoon, and her ex-lover, actor James Tupper, father of her younger boy, Atlas.

The 53-year-old actress, who died of brain injuries and severe burns a week after crashing her car into a home, where it exploded in flames Aug. 5, left her money to sons Homer, 20, with ex-hubby Coley Laffoon, and Atlas, 13.

An L.A. court put Homer temporary in charge of her estate on Sept. 15 after he filed to be appointed in control and to be Atlas' legal guardian.

But Atlas’ dad, Tupper, 57, star of Men in Trees and Big Little Lies, insists he was given control of her estate by Heche in a 2011 email.

In legal papers, Tupper claims Heche wrote: “My wishes are that all of my assets go to the control of Mr. James Tupper to be used to raise my children and then given to the children.”

Tupper also claims Homer is jobless, too young and was estranged from Heche and Atlas at the time of her death.

He also accuses Homer of changing the locks on the apartment Heche shared with Atlas, preventing the boy from getting his belongings.
