Pushing to keep movie set sterile
LEGENDARY germophobe Denzel Washington has gone buggy on the set of his Equalizer 3 sequel and is demanding private meal pods and wants to shoot scenes without other actors whenever possible, blabs an industry spy.
With the COVID-19 pandemic still raging, the 67-yearold is going to extremes as he gears up to shoot the action flick in Italy.
“He’s keeping himself in a total bubble right now, and he’s even suggested the actors all shoot their scenes solo,” tattles the spy. “He says editing can fix it so the audience will never know.
“He’s very clear that he can’t, under any circumstances, get sick. They simply cannot afford any shutdowns. Denzel has made it clear this shoot will follow every health protocol to the letter and beyond.
“He’s pushing the producers to get private pods for everyone to eat in, so there’s no chance of contamination
Denzel reportedly wanted his Equalizer 3 co-stars to shoot their scenes solo
when they have their meal breaks.
“And he wants daily testing and a mask on everyone who isn’t on camera, and that includes his co-stars.
“If they aren’t shooting and they’re on set he wants them to be masked up, no exceptions.”
Denzel’s fear of disease and illness is no secret in
Tinseltown.
“People have heard stories about Denzel for years, including he doesn’t like to do scenes in a bed without an undershirt on and that he sometimes won’t kiss his costars,” rats an industry spy.
“It’s a good problem to have in these times too, because nobody is ever going to accuse Denzel of crossing a line with a female co-star.”
