WARNING! COVID’S MUTATING AGAIN!

New SYMPTOMS you need to know

-

AS KILLER COVID-19 continues to ravage the globe, experts warn the latest wave of ever-mutating virus strains is causing a different set of symptoms from earlier versions of the disease! Here are the most common new signs you need to know to help protect you and your family!

More than half of those now testing positive for COVID had sore throats, headaches, persistent coughs, runny noses or nasal congestion. And more than a fifth reported sneezing, muscle aches, fatigue and dizziness, according to Britain’s ZOE Health Study.

Meanwhile, initial hallmarks of the disease appear to be on the wane.

Recent research has found the currently circulating Omicron variant is less likely to cause the loss of taste and smell, which was common with earlier Alpha and Delta versions. In fact, the ZOE study found under 20 percent of U.K. COVID patients surveyed experienced those impaired senses.

Additionally, data harvested by the ZOE Symptom Tracker app shows just 43 percent of COVID-positive patients are now running a high temperature.

ZOE’s co-founder Dr. Tim Spector — a professor of epidemiology at King’s College London — notes, “It really is a complete waste of everyone’s time to be screening workplaces and care homes for fever at the moment.”

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, COVID symptoms may appear from two to 14 days after exposure to the virus. Testing is the only way to verify an infection, but officials advise people to seek immediate medical attention if they have trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in their chest or an inability to stay awake.
