MICHAEL ADMITS HAVING BAD YEAR
MIGHTY Michael J. Fox has battled Parkinson’s disease for three decades, but THIS year has really been hellish — from broken bones to losing his beloved mom, Phyllis, at 92, to his dispiriting health struggles “getting worse” with age.
“In the last year I’ve broken my cheek, my eye socket, my hand, my elbow, my shoulder. I had a rough year of getting beat up,” admits the Back to the Future star, who quit acting in 2020 after straining to memorize and speak his lines.
“I’m 61 and feeling it a little bit more.”
Michael — who has been married to actress Tracy Pollan, 62, since 1988 — was diagnosed with the degenerative nerve disorder in 1991, and says his mission these days is to “not fall down.”
