FIREBRAND Judge Judy Sheindlin brags hitmaker Justin Bieber is terrified of her because she publicly bashed his bad boy behavior after he was arrested at 19!
“He’s scared to death of me,” boasts the longtime TV judge, 80, who used to live next door to the Ghost singer, 28. “There was a period of time before he grew up — when he was foolish and doing foolish things.”
The straight shooter claims Bieber’s security team would be on the lookout for her and crows, “I understood that he was paying the front door people to let them know when I was there, coming and going, so he wouldn’t have to bump into me!”
After Bieber was busted for DUI in 2014, Judy blasted
him for taking his fame for granted and barked, “Being a celebrity is a gift.
You could either treat it reverently or you could make a fool out of yourself. And he’s doing a very good job of making a fool out of himself.”
She also harshly added, “Nobody’s going to remember that he was a marginal singer. But they’re going to remember a young kid who had a chance to have it all and who is blowing it.”
Months after his arrest, the troubled chart-topper pleaded guilty to reduced charges of misdemeanor careless driving and resisting arrest. He later overcame his addiction demons and got hitched in 2018 to model Hailey Baldwin, who calls her hubby a “walking miracle” for getting — and staying — sober.
