MICKEY MOUSE IS A LOUSE!

-

DISNEY theme park workers struggle to make ends meet on skimpy salaries as the Mickey Mouse company handsomely pays big cheese executives, according to a shocking documentary produced by — of all people — a Disney heiress!

Most cast members are expected to smile their way through shifts at the corporation’s lucrative parks. But The American Dream and Other Fairy Tales charges behind the scenes, one out of every ten full-time employees has experienced recent homelessness and two-thirds bellyached they don’t have enough cash for food!

The film’s disturbing details echo a prior poll that found 80 percent of surveyed Disneyland employees in California didn’t feel they earned enough money

to get by, but Magic Kingdom brass claimed the results didn’t represent the feelings of its workforce!

In the documentary, one worker shares, “We’ve had cast members who’ve had to make the decision between medication or food.”

Meanwhile, in 2018 Disney CEO Bob Iger collected $65 million — which is 1,424 times the median salary of an average employee!

Social activist Abigail Disney — granddaughter of Roy

O. Disney, who co-founded the multibillion-dollar entertainment giant with famous brother Walt — has long been critical of her family’s business and was behind the scathing flick.

The fuming philanthropist, 62, says, “There’s no way they don’t know people aren’t putting food on the table.

“What they told me was, ‘We’ve been polling our workers, and 98 percent of them are very, very happy and

proud to be at Disney.’

“All I had to do was walk in that room [with workers] and ask them a few questions, and I got the truth!”

The stunning findings come as the company is being slammed for trying to accrue social currency with increasing political wokeness!

Since current CEO Bob Chapek succeeded Iger in 2020, Disney has championed liberal-leaning agendas, including ridding its properties of “fairy godmothers” in favor of non-gender-specific “apprentices” to appear more inclusive.

Critics have also blasted Disney for shoehorning LGBTQ and “woke” content into its parks and children’s programming. Die-hard fans have griped about changes, including a revamp of the Jungle Cruise attraction, which removed shrunken head dealer Trader Sam for the sake of political correctness.

“The next time I ride Jungle Cruise I will not be thinking about the gloriously entertaining puns of the skippers. I will be thinking about Disney’s political agenda,” says one recent Disney World visitor.

“That’s a mood killer.”
