SAVANNAH & HODA FUED CUTS TO BONE

Today rivals trying to be skinnier than each other

-

TODAY show chatterboxes Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie act friendly on camera, but behind the scenes they’re secretly locked in a no-holds-barred weight war to see who can be skinnier and sexier, spies tattle.

Sources snitch the tension between the co-anchors can be cut with a knife especially now that they’ve thrown their weekly weigh-ins into the batter.

As GLOBE previously revealed, single mom Hoda, 58, has not been a happy camper in the months since she ended her two-year engagement to financier Joel Schiffman.

“Hoda’s been anxious and lonely and stressed out and that’s caused her weight to plummet, plus she’s exercising like crazy,” dishes a mole. “But it’s turned into a competition with Savannah, who always knew how to push Hoda’s buttons. “When Savannah swans into the room with a new low-fat recipe, Hoda wants to best her with one of her own.

“They brag about their workouts, and no one would be surprised if they started comparing biceps and abs.”

The TV talkers are vying to be the slimmest queen bee at this season’s holiday parties, according to a spy, who insists, “Hoda will be damned if Savannah steals her thunder this year like she’s previously done.”

Hoda has jazzed up her wardrobe to better show off her slimmed-down figure, and has been “turning heads in a way that she never did before,” reveals the spy.

Meanwhile, Savannah, 50, is “seething inside,” says the mole. “Savannah always thought of herself as the pretty one, but she can’t say that now.”
