911 DISPATCHER SAVES DAUGHTER FROM BANDIT!

-

POLICE dispatcher Teri Clark got the shock of her life when she fielded a desperate emergency call about an armed robbery — from her own daughter!

Clark’s 16-year-old girl Tenia Hill was working at a New Orleans McDonald’s when an armed woman burst in and locked the teen and other workers in a freezer.

Brave Tenia dialed 911. When the girl realized she was speaking with her mom, she said, “It’s me, Tenia. Mama, help! Please hurry up, she’s got a gun!”

Teri, a 24-year veteran of the Orleans Parish Communications District, somehow managed to keep her cool during the Oct. 17 drama.

“I was in shock,” Teri admits. “What broke me down was when my child said, ‘We’re in the freezer.’

“While I was taking the call, tears [were] coming down my face, but I am still trying to do my job.”

Teri got Tenia to give her a description of the robber and sent cops to the scene.

“I was very worried because I didn’t want my mom to have to bury her youngest child,” says Tenia. “I could have lost my life, but she saved my life.”

Despite the bravery of Teri and Tenia, the crook escaped.

But that doesn’t faze Clark’s boss, Tyrell Morris, who praised the unflappable dispatcher, saying, “If I could clone Teri, I would!”
