BATTY Britney Spears’ separation from new hubby Sam Asghari may only be temporary, but sources say the insecure pop tart has gone off the deep end worrying about their long-term future!
As the hunk completes a monthlong movie shoot on the East Coast, the 41-yearold Toxic singer was quite literally spinning in circles at the couple’s California mansion, relentlessly punching the keypad on her cell phone and venting on social media, sources say.
“Britney did not handle this break well as the distance between them nearly drove her over the edge,” confides an insider. “She was burning up Sam’s phone at all hours and wouldn’t quit.
“The poor guy’s been trying to work and pleaded for peace and space, but Brit won’t hear of it. She’s totally freaked out and worried Sam will meet someone else, or worse yet, that he won’t ever come back.”
Britney wed Sam, 28, in a lavish ceremony on June 9, just months after her 13-year conservatorship ended in November of last year. The honeymoon was cut short when Sam, who’s been trying to break into acting, left for Baltimore to work on a new project that lasted 35 days.
In the meantime, Britney took to Instagram numerous times to express her outrage and to dance erratically. She recently shared bizarre posts saying she’s “not sure I was honestly that PRESENT [at her wedding] because I haven’t had real consciousness in three years.” But she noted, “I’m alive and I’m breathing again!!!”
Still, she apparently remains freaked out over Sam’s absence.
“Sam’s subjected to crying fits and angry meltdowns about why he’s left her in the lurch when she needs him most,” squeals the source. “It’s like she’s doing everything to push Sam away for good.
“People around Britney are worried she’s really cracking up — again!”
