Disgraced jock owes Goldmans $100M for wrongful death of Nicole’s pal Ron
EX-CON O.J. Simpson has been stiffing murder victims Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman’s relatives — despite a court order to pay a whopping $33.5 million wrongful death settlement, insiders say.
More than 25 years after winning the award at a civil trial after Simpson beat a criminal murder rap, Goldman’s dad, Fred, is seething and charges the former football legend has barely paid a cent!
The still-grieving 81-yearold has complained to courts Simpson, 75, who’s been living high on the hog in Las Vegas, has paid just $133,000 and now owes nearly $100 million with interest!
“Fred is beyond frustrated,” a family friend dishes. “He continues to go to court to reinforce the civil suit award and O.J. keeps fighting back — and thumbing his nose at the system.”
Goldman brands Simpson’s criminal trial acquittal for the 1994 murders of Nicole and his son “the worst miscarriage of justice in history,” says the source. “And he’s continuing to live high without honoring his court-ordered obligations.
“Fred is getting up in years, but he says he will pursue O.J. until his dying day.”
As GLOBE previously reported, the disgraced football player moved to Vegas in 2018 after serving nine years in prison for an armed robbery conviction and sources claim balks at handing over money to the Goldman estate.
“O.J.’s pensions from the National Football League and the Screen Actors Guild are shielded, and he’s living pretty comfortably off them,” a source says.
“O.J. sometimes brags he has millions stashed away that the Goldmans will never touch, so he feels he is getting the last laugh.”
Meanwhile, says the source, Goldman boils over at the thought that Simpson’s “alive, he’s free. He can do anything he wants. Everything my son can’t do.”
