ACQUITTED child-killer Casey Anthony is getting a documentary — and the Peacock network bigwigs who greenlighted this glorification of America’s most monstrous mom should be horsewhipped! Titled Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies, the Nov. 29 project claims to give the now 36-year-old’s version of what happened to her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.
But who cares — Casey is a huge liar!
As GLOBE has reported, Caylee was last seen by her grandparents Cindy and George Anthony on June 16, 2008, when Casey, who never seemed to know who fathered her tot, left the family home in Orlando with the girl in tow.
A month later, Casey showed up WITHOUT Caylee. Worried grandma Cindy called the cops saying her daughter had given various stories about what happened — and the trunk of her car smelled like death warmed over.
Grilled by cops, Casey claimed she left Caylee with a nanny who kidnapped the child. That proved to be a lie.
She was charged with firstdegree murder and jailed.
Two months later, Caylee’s skeletal remains were found in a plastic bag in a wooded area blocks from the Anthony house. Her body was too far gone to determine a cause of death.
Duct tape was found covering the mouth of the skull. The
coroner ruled Caylee’s death a murder by “undetermined means.”
At the trial, prosecutors claimed wild-child Casey wanted to be free of having a kid so she chloroformed the tyke, and left her in her car trunk with tape over her mouth so she could go party.
Defense lawyer Jose Baez claimed the child had drowned in the family’s pool and grandpa George disposed of the body. Casey kept quiet about it because she was messed up having been sexually abused by her dad, Baez claimed. George denied it all — and Baez had no evidence to support his accusations. But somehow, numbskull jurors let Casey beat the murder rap. She was only found guilty of giving false information to the cops, a misdemeanor.
It’s been 14 years — and guess what — there are still no suspects for Caylee’s death, other than mom Casey, the last person she was seen with.
But convicted liar Casey was given a forum to sell her cockand-bull story to America, which doesn’t do the Peacock proud.
