FORMER Full House star and ultra-religious Candace Cameron Bure and her family are planning to abandon L.A. and escape the fierce firestorm over what critics say were attacks on homosexuals and transgender folks.
Now a producer, Bure drew fire by announcing her TV projects would highlight “traditional marriage” and not LGBTQ+ stories at her new home channel, Great American Family.
While she insists she loves everyone, Candace was shunned in Hollywood and by old pals, including disgraced former Full House co-star Lori Loughlin, 58, over her anti-woke stance, say insiders.
“A lot of the people she thought to be her friends have abandoned her. Even Loughlin won’t return her calls and Candace was one of Lori’s biggest supporters when she was imprisoned in a college bribery scandal,” spills an insider.
Tipsters tattle Candace and former pro hockey hunk hubby Valeri Bure, 48, who live in Malibu, are planning to permanently relocate in their Napa home, where they spend every holiday season with kids Natasha, 24, Lev, 22, and Maksim, 20.
“The plan is to go there and stay indefinitely until this thing dies down,” reveals the source. “She just can’t see herself in L.A. right now.
“The hate being directed at her is abysmal. She feels everything’s been blown out of proportion and that she’s been unfairly targeted.”
Meanwhile, 46-year-old Candace insists her “trials strengthen her “faith in God” and build character.
“She’s sticking to her faith and loving all people and hopes everyone can calm down,” notes the source.
“In the meantime, she’ll be in Napa enjoying the peace, scenic views — and the wine.”
