Calls cops on ex-hubby who tells court she’s bizarre boozer
SCARY Spice Mel B is being dragged into court by exhubby Stephen Belafonte, who accuses her of being so drunk their 11-year-old daughter, Madison, has been calling him “in utter panic!”
The 47-year-old producer, wed to the Spice Girl from 2007 to 2017, is asking for an emergency court hearing before Madison visits her mom in England, claiming the former pop star engages in “drinking and bizarre naked” behavior.
Belafonte’s bombshells come amid a blisteringly bitter bust-up with his ex-wife, who called L.A. cops demanding a welfare check at his home after she was unable to contact their daughter! As it turns out, the little girl was in school — but Mel is asking for the court to order drug tests on her ex, legal papers say.
Now Belafonte, who has repeatedly denied his ex’s allegations of domestic abuse, also wants Madison to have a private phone so the kid can contact him anytime.
He charges his 47-year-old ex guzzles so much, she’s often “slurring her speech” and it “substantially impairs her ability to care for Madison.”
“This has gotten to the point where Madison has felt the need to call [Mel] out,” he claims in court documents.
He’s also asking the court to order “nude” Mel to stop her bizarre habit of “entering Madison’s bathtub, walking around without her underwear or attempting to sleep in the same bed with Madison.”
He claims Mel “cuddled” in the nude with Madison, “spooning” her in the same bed she shares with her lover. He also claims Madison is so upset, the girl’s at the “breaking point” and in a “state of panic and utter refusal to see her mother.”
Mel insists Belafonte is harassing her — and wants it to stop.
