NAOMI JUDD DEATH SCENE REVEALED! Official police photos detail beloved star’s tragic final torment

-

SHOCKING police death scene photos show the gory bed and blood-spattered room where tormented country diva Naomi Judd blew her brains out — after leaving a final devastating message banning singing partner daughter Wynonna from her funeral!

After months of legal wrangling by the Judd family to keep Naomi’s suicide police file sealed, a copy of the report was released by Tennessee’s Williamson County Sheriff’s Office — and GLOBE can now reveal what the 76-year-old music legend’s family was trying to hide from the world!

Bodycam images and onthe-scene photos captured by police investigators reveal Naomi’s bloodstained bed, her handgun on a nightstand, a hole in the wall behind the bed where the bullet entered after tearing through her skull, multiple pills with some crushed — perhaps for snorting — and a suicide note.

The Turn It Loose singer took her life shortly before 11 a.m. on April 30, 2022, leaving a short, bitter suicide note scribbled on a Post-It pad, writing, “Do not let Wy come to my funeral. She’s mentally ill.”

A line was drawn under the word “not.”

An officer on the scene originally hid the note in the pages of a book, later admitting doing it “only because he did not want the note to hurt Wynonna’s feelings.”

But a close family source tells GLOBE while Wynonna, 58, attended her mother’s funeral and has openly mourned Naomi’s death, the note cut her to the bone.

“Naomi had suffered from mental illness and suicidal thoughts for years, and Wynonna suffered right along with her,” the source reveals.

“They toured the world and became music superstars as The Judds, but that also caused a lot of conflict.”

The source notes the devastated daughter “just has to continue to believe her mother did not mean what she wrote.”

The police report also reveals Naomi’s younger child, actress Ashley Judd, 54, went to visit her mother on the tragic morning she took her life — only to find her in a manic mental state.

Ashley told police her mother screamed, “Kill me, kill me now. I don’t want to live!”

Ashley calmly told her distraught mother, “Now, mom, you know I’m not going to do that.”

Ashley then whipped off frantic texts to the family’s longtime therapist, Dr. Ted Klontz, writing, “She’s having an episode. Yelling and crying and pacing … Emergency … Please come to mom’s … Now.”

Ashley told police Naomi calmed down after Dr. Klontz’s arrival, and later

went upstairs while the actress and physician discussed her condition downstairs.

But when Ashley went up to check on her, she found Naomi with a massive bullet wound to the head, and began applying pressure to stave the bleeding, telling Dr. Klontz, “She did it. She finally did it.”

Police and emergency medical workers arrived to find Naomi still conscious with her eyes open, but attempts to revive her proved futile.

Wynonna arrived and railed about the quantity of pills her mother had been popping.

“Mrs. W. Judd commented that she believes doctors gave her too many meds and that she was taking too many,” the report says.

A later autopsy revealed Naomi had taken a cocktail of prescription pills.

Sources say she used a battery of pills like Prozac, benzodiazepines and prednisone to battle posttraumatic stress, bipolar disorder, Parkinson’s symptoms, insomnia and depression.

Dr. Klontz “speculated” to police that “because Naomi was high drama, she may not have meant to shoot herself, but was just looking for attention,” the report notes.

Police also reportedly tested Ashley and Dr. Klontz for gunpowder residue and finding none, ruled them out as suspects.

A family source tells GLOBE family members feared Naomi was in mental anguish over facing an eight-city Judds farewell tour beginning that September, but Wynonna believed her mother could handle one last hurrah on stage.

“Over the years, Wynonna had to practically drag her mom kicking and screaming to do the various Judds reunion tours they’ve staged, but Naomi always snapped right into her role in the duo and performed wonderfully,” the source says.

“Wy didn’t think this short tour would be any different, but for Naomi, her mental health had just declined, so the least bit of pressure sent her over the edge.

“It’s a heartache the whole family will have to deal with the rest of their lives.”
