GMA CHEATERS OUT ON THEIR KEISTERS!
Morning show chaos as fight explodes for Amy & T.J.’s jobs
TV HOSTS Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are history at Good Morning America — nearly two months after their adulterous fling was exposed!
Now, sources dish the morning hit is in turmoil as ambitious staffers jockey to fill their vacated seats! An ABC News spokesperson claims the duo’s departure was mutual. However, tipsters snitch embarrassed bosses wanted the scandalous sweethearts kicked to the curb — and the lawyeredup lovers wouldn’t walk until they received hefty contract settlements! As GLOBE readers know, Robach, 50, and Holmes, 45, were caught canoodling last November — despite each being married to other people for more than a decade! Shortly afterward, they were suspended from GMA as their affair was labeled a “distraction.”
After being booted from their high-profile perches, a source squeals the lovebirds — who are currently embroiled in divorces from spouses Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig — are “ready for a fresh start.”
But insiders claim their exit has thrown GMA into chaos!
ABC News correspondent
Gio Benitez, 37, national correspondent Stephanie Ramos, 41, and Whit Johnson, 40, and Janai Norman, 33 — co-anchors of GMA: Weekend Edition — all filled in during Robach and Holmes’ forced absence.
But DeMarco Morgan, 44, and Rhiannon Ally, 42, who have also served as interim anchors, are said to be favored as permanent replacements. Morgan had been with CBS until joining ABC in November, while
Ally has worked for ABC News since December 2021. But spies blab other on-air talent view them as upstarts and are gunning for their spots!
“People are upset that others haven’t had as much of a chance,” spills a source. Meanwhile, insiders also say ABC News boss Kim Godwin is on thin ice for initially insisting Holmes and Robach’s dalliance was “not a violation of company policy” and letting the story spiral into a PR nightmare for the Disney-owned network!
